International Congress and Expo 2022 was organized by the Essential oil Association of India (EOAI)

International Congress and Expo 2022 was organized by the Essential oil Association of India (EOAI) from 26th to 28th May, 2022 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. During the technical session of the event, Dr. Nirpendra Chauhan, Director, Centre for Aromatic Plants (CAP) Dehradun, delivered a presentation on the Technologies available and the Contribution of CAP to the Essential oil industry. 

During the event Dr. Nirpendra Chauhan was awarded the "Prof. S.C. Varshney Memorial Scientist Award" by the Essential oil Association of India for his outstanding contribution to the Aroma sector.

Also Mr. Khimesh Rubali, a progressive farmer of cinnamon from aroma cluster Okhalkanda, Nainital was also honored by EOAI and presented a cheque of Rs. 25000 for cinnamon cultivation.

In this event, CAP displayed Himalayan minor essential oils such as Van Tulsi, Surai, Kunja, Cinnamon, Bhukumbar, etc. through a stall in which keen interest was shown by the visitors.
